The Access to Work Grant

Article Published: May 26, 2025

If you or a staff member have a disability, illness, or health condition, including ADHD, Dyslexia or Long Covid, an Access to Work grant can pay for coaching, practical support, specialist equipment, and help with travel expenses to do your job.

You do not need to be diagnosed with a condition to apply and can be employed,  self-employed or a Director of a Ltd company.

Awards can be up to £66,000 worth of flexible, personalised support per year, tailored to individual needs.

Rest assured, the money is a non-repayable sum that won’t affect any other benefits and is not means-tested.

We have teamed up with Pam Allen from PA Today who is helping business owners apply for thousands of pounds of grants and so we wanted to make sure you knew about it.

If you are interested or would like more information you can book a free, no-obligation video call with her friendly, experienced team – https://calendly.com/pamallen/access-to-work-video-meeting
