Awards and Recognition

Article Published: July 3, 2018

2018 is the year when everything began to add up for us all at Premier Tax Solutions.

We’ve come a long way since starting PTS in 2013 and now our hard work is being recognised by others.

We kicked off the year by attending the Sentinel Business Awards, where we – Emily Precious and Vanessa Fuller – had been jointly shortlisted for Young Business Person of the Year. In the end, we were commended as a runner-up, but the competition was fierce, and we were thrilled with our achievement

Then we went national! We made the finals of the Tolley’s Taxation Awards. To be recognised as an outstanding Single Office practice by our colleagues in accountancy was an amazing honour and we danced the night away at the very glamorous awards celebration at the Hilton Park Lane, in swanky Mayfair.

If that was not enough, we have now won further recognition back in Stoke-on-Trent.

In late June, the Sentinel newspaper published its Business Hot 100 and we were among the chosen businesses.

That’s just incredible!  We were on the list along with major Staffordshire companies, such as Steelite, KMF Engineering and Alton Towers and were recognised because of our energy and commitment to success.

It is our commitment to clients and our determination to change the public perception of a successful accountancy firm which has led to recognition. Five years ago, we set out to demystify taxation and break through the somewhat stuffy image that we know intimidates many small businesses.

Guess what? Accountants are normal HUMANS! We wear jeans and hoodies, we use accounting apps to put your business figures at your fingertips…we don’t believe you should be intimidated by the likes of those TV Dragons shouting “why don’t you know your numbers?”

Awards and recognition are fantastic, but we know that we can only achieve by being successful for our customers.
